USABILITY TESTING

The purpose of this usability testing was to assist the UX Designer in digging deeper and better. This activity will aid in obtaining qualitative as well as quantitative findings. In this portion of the exercise, obtaining qualitative outcomes has been critical. This test will allow visitors to interact more effectively with the website, and it will offer useful information for the website’s development.

METHODOLOGIES

Many testers have been hesitant to participate in usability testing because of the pandemic procedures that we are now dealing with. This is why the interviews were conducted online, using Zoom, using a shared screen to conduct the interview and test.

The usability tests were divided into stages, with each section observing and testing the person’s behavior, feelings, and emotions toward the website.

The tester was introduced to the project in order to put him in context and make him feel at ease with the subject. Another portion consisted of a single question concerning their rating and website navigation convenience.

5 user tests were conducted with 5 participants to obtain insightful information.

PROCEDURE

> Participants were asked how comfortable they are with accessing the website.

> The participants were well-informed on the project and gained valuable insights into how important it was in the business environment.

> I displayed the high-fidelity mockups by sharing my screen.

> As the interviewer, I recorded and saved the session.

> The responses were written down and entered into an internet document.

INTERVIEW QUESTIONNAIRE

Interview Questionnaire

The above interview questions were used to conduct these interviews with 5 participants and obtain their insights on the project in the pre-test.

ISSUES AND IMPROVEMENTS

> A “save” button could have been added to specific aniamls for the user to be able to go back to them respectively.

> A “logout” button at the end would be extremely helpful instead of continuously pressing the back arrow.

> Offer a way for users to contribute to this world crisis.
